Family owned vineyard Chateau Cristi lies at the southern tip of Moldova, one of the oldest winemaking regions in the world. There, amidst the rolling hills, clay soil and vast lakes, two brothers dedicate themselves to producing low-intervention wines that do justice to the sanctity of their surroundings. Grapes are from old vines planted in clay soil, wines are aged in stainless steel and intervention is minimal. The vineyard is also currently undergoing organic conversion. A daring mix of rich Chardonnay and acidic, racy Riesling, Jumi-Juma roughly translates to "let's go halves" - whether it's the last slice of cake, a lottery ticket or a delicious bottle of wine. It's the spirit of sharing, and that's why it's the perfect name for this spectacular wine.
