Led by Arnaldo Botter, a maverick 3rd generation winemaker, the Casa Vinicola Botter company has been making wine in the hills of Veneto since 1928. This particular Pinot Grigio Rosato, bottled in the town of Fossalta di Piave, 30 miles to the north of Venice, is a blend of 80% Garganega and 20% Pinot Grigio. A beautiful salmon pink, on the nose fresh aromas of citrus fruits, acacia flowers and summer berries. On the palate, dry and refreshing with excellent acidity leading to a crisp finish. Low Sulphur.
